FAQ

Q1 Are group classes suitable if I've never exercised?

If you have no free-weight experience, compare Beginner Strength Training LV1 / LV2 and one-on-one training, and choose based on how much individual attention you need, how you like to learn, and when you can attend.

The Free-Weight Group Class mainly suits people who have basic movement experience and can attend a fixed class time. Whether you can join directly will be confirmed based on your current training experience and health.

Q2 What happens in the first personal training session?
We first learn about your goals and daily life, then do a simple movement check and try some movements to find the version you can most easily do well right now. The focus is on setting a clear starting direction, not lifting heavy from day one.

Q3 Can I start if I'm afraid of getting hurt?

Tell us what worries you most, and whether you currently have pain, an old injury, or any medical limits on movement. We'll learn about your training experience and health first, then talk about a suitable way to start.

If you currently feel unwell or are receiving treatment, please check with a medical professional whether training is suitable for you first, and then we can talk about how to start with one-on-one.

Q4 How soon will you reply?
We usually reply within 48 hours. If you'd like a faster reply, add us on LINE and send a short note about your situation and the times that suit you, and we'll help you arrange things first.

Q5 Can I join if I'm 60 or older?

If you're 60 or older, we suggest starting with a One-on-One Trial, so the coach can understand your current movement ability and what load you can handle, then plan suitable training.

If you have pain, an illness, a recent injury or surgery, or are receiving treatment, please check with a medical professional whether training is suitable for you first.

Whether you can join a group class later will be discussed based on how you move, how you respond to training, and how you recover, and still needs an individual assessment.

Q6 Is there a contract or joining fee?

No. Beyoung Training has no joining fee and no contract.

Public prices for the Free-Weight Group Class, Beginner Strength Training LV1 / LV2, and the One-on-One Trial are listed on Classes & Pricing.

For regular one-on-one or two-person packages, leave a message on this page with the training you'd like and the times that suit you, and we'll confirm the arrangements and pricing with you.

You're ready. Let's get started!

Beyoung Training's teaching approach is strongly inspired by the Monster Training system and the training ideas promoted by Dr. Li-An Ho.
We value movement quality and gradual progress, so people at every level can keep improving steadily.

Starting strength and conditioning training is really about learning movement. You don't need to be good at it first, and you don't need to lift heavy first. What matters more is relearning the basics of standing steady, applying force, and the movement path. Then your body becomes more confident moving, and training becomes easier to turn into a habit. At Beyoung Training, we first learn about your situation and goals, then start with a version you can do, making your movement steadier and more consistent step by step. You'll know clearly what you're learning and what comes next. If you're still not sure whether to start with the Free-Weight Group Class or personal training, just leave us a message. Tell us your current exercise level, whether safety or pace matters more to you, and when you're free, and we'll help you find the best way to start.
