Class guide

Find the right strength training for you in Kaohsiung

Beginner-friendly

You don't need to understand training fully first to find a way to start that suits you.

Before choosing, look at what help you need right now

Some people need to learn the equipment and basic movements first, some want the coach to spend more time observing them individually, and others already have a foundation and want a regular class schedule with ongoing feedback on their movement.

When choosing a class, consider the help you need now, how you like to learn and the times you can make. If you're not sure, tell us about your past training and what matters to you, and we'll decide together.

No foundation at all, and want to learn the movements properly first

If you've had almost no contact with strength training and want to gradually build the basic movements, how classes run and a training rhythm, LV1 is a great first step.

Know the basic movements, and want to train every week at a set time

If you already have basic free-weight experience and can commit to a fixed class time, we can assess whether the Free-Weight Group Class suits you.

Want training that's more detailed and planned around you

If you want sessions adjusted in finer detail to your goals, physical condition and learning pace, or you're worried about keeping up, one-on-one is usually the more reassuring way to start.

Want to start with a partner, friend or family member

If you want to build a training habit with someone important to you, supporting each other and starting together under a coach's guidance, two-person training is usually a great fit.

One-on-One Personal Training

Who it's for

People who want training planned around their own goals, physical condition and learning pace

Good starting point if You're a complete beginner worried about keeping up, have specific needs you want checked individually first, or want to learn the basics properly sooner

Main focus Build movement, force production, stability and a training foundation more intensively

Class format

The coach guides and adjusts in finer detail based on your situation. Sessions use a private training space, with the coach and one student.

May not suit

People who want a lower-barrier way to start, or would rather train with a friend

Two-Person Training

Who it's for

People who want to start with a partner, friend or family member

You want someone to start with
You want to progress together under a coach's guidance

People who want to progress entirely at their own pace

Beginner Strength Training – LV1

Who it's for

People with almost no strength training background who want to build the basic movements and concepts first

Good starting point if

You don't know how to start strength training
You're worried about keeping up in a regular group class
You want to build a foundation with peace of mind

Main focus

Learn the basic movements, how classes run and the training rhythm first

Class format

A pace beginners can keep up with, getting you familiar with training step by step

May not suit

People who need a lot of individual adjustment
People with a solid training foundation who want to go straight into a fuller training program

Beginner Strength Training – LV2

Who it's for

People who know the basic movements and want to build more strength and stability

Good starting point if

You've done LV1
You have some initial experience
You want to build steadier training ability

Main focus

Moving from the basics to a steadier foundation

Class format

Keep practising and building on the foundation you already have

May not suit

People with no foundation at all
People who haven't yet built the basic movements and class habits

Free-Weight Group Class

Who it's for

People who already have basic movement skills and want to train every week

Good starting point if

You have some initial foundation
You want to train regularly
You want steady progress over the long term

Main focus

Training as a sustainable long-term routine that leads to continued adaptation

Class format

The coach plans the shared program first, and individual loads are discussed based on the coach's observation and your feedback, so you keep building movement quality, strength and physical adaptability within the group rhythm.

May not suit

People with no foundation at all who don't yet know how to start the basic movements
People who currently need a lot of close individual guidance

As your goals, physical condition and schedule change, the class that suits you may change too. People with training experience can keep choosing one-on-one, and people who are ready for a group rhythm can consider group classes. Just choose what fits your current needs and what you can keep up.

Common questions before choosing a class

很多人不是不想開始,而是怕自己選錯。下面這幾個問題,通常是第一次接觸肌力訓練時最常卡住的地方。

FAQ 1

I have no foundation at all. Should I choose Beginner Strength Training – LV1 / LV2 or one-on-one?

If you'd like to start in a relatively low-pressure way, you can usually begin with Beginner Strength Training – LV1. If you're worried about keeping up, want finer adjustment to your situation, or have something that needs checking first, one-on-one is usually a better fit.

FAQ 2

I'm a beginner. Can I join the Free-Weight Group Class directly?

It depends on whether you have basic free-weight experience and can commit to a fixed class time — not just how long you've been doing strength training.

If you already know the basic movements, tell us what you've trained before and the coach will help confirm whether you can join. If you haven't built the basic movements yet, compare Beginner Strength Training – LV1 / LV2 and one-on-one, and choose based on how much individual attention you need and how you like to learn.

FAQ 3

I want to train regularly, but I'm worried I won't do it well. How should I start?

This is true for a lot of people. Usually you can start with LV1 or one-on-one to build the basic movements, a class rhythm and a sense of security, then move on to the longer-term group class when you're ready. What matters isn't choosing the most advanced option at the start, but finding a way you can manage now.

FAQ 4

I want to train with my partner or a friend, but we're at different levels. Can we still do two-person training?

In most cases, we'll first talk about where each of you is now, and the coach will help decide whether you can train together. If your goals, physical condition or starting needs are very different, we may suggest a better way to start.

FAQ 5

What if I'm still not sure how to choose?

That's fine — you don't need to have the answer first. Just tell us your goals, past experience, current situation and what you're worried about, and we'll help you decide whether to start with one-on-one, two-person training, Beginner Strength Training – LV1 / LV2 or the Free-Weight Group Class.

You don't need to choose correctly before you ask

Beyoung Training doesn't expect you to research every class and make the perfect decision before getting in touch. A more practical approach is usually to tell us your goals, past experience, current situation and what you're worried about, and we'll help you decide on a suitable way to start.

Some people are better off starting with Beginner Strength Training – LV1 / LV2, some with one-on-one, and some are actually ready for regular group classes. What really matters isn't choosing the class that looks most impressive, but the way to start that suits you best now, that you can actually do, and that you're most likely to keep up.

To compare the fees and arrangements currently published for each class, see Classes and fees. For one-on-one and two-person training plans, please ask us about the sessions you'd like.

If you're still not sure which option suits your training experience, physical condition or schedule, tell us about your situation and ask how best to start. Including your age range, past exercise experience, current needs and available times in your message makes it easier to discuss.
